  • How are learners assessed?

The courses covers the knowledge and performance criteria in accordance with the relevant Unit of Competency and Assessment Requirements, as outlined on training.gov.au

    Knowledge Assessment

Before attending the course, learners will receive a link to complete mandatory online learning and answer knowledge quiz questions at their own pace. This must be completed prior to the practical sessions unless there are exceptional circumstances. In such cases, learners must inform the Trainer and Assessor upon arrival for the practical session.

Please note that this is a requirement for online training. If you have digital literacy challenges or require support in this area, please email our Learner Support Officer at: supportofficer@sntraining.com.au.

    Practical Sessions

The practical session includes demonstrations, practice, and skills assessments, along with the application of knowledge gained during the online learning.

  • What is the mode of course delivery?

Each unit of competency includes an online learning component that must be completed prior to attending the course, along with an online knowledge assessment that can be completed at your own pace.

On the training day, the session will be trainer-led and conducted in either a half-day or full-day format, depending on the specific course requirements, in a face-to-face classroom setting.

  • What are the entry requirements?

SN Training requires learners to present a valid photo ID before the course commencement.

Each of our accredited units of competency requires a specific level of physical ability to meet the evidence requirements for assessment. These standards define the level of performance necessary to demonstrate competency.

Given the potential health and safety risks, it is not appropriate to issue a statement of attainment to learners who are physically unable to meet the required assessment standards.

Learners should attend the course in comfortable, appropriate clothing with closed-in shoes. All equipment and consumables are supplied as part of the course.
